What to expect, and what will be expected of you, as a member of the WYL community.
By posting content on WYL, you agree to abide by this policy. We reserve the right to remove any content, in whole or in part, that violates this policy, our Terms of Service, our Community Standards, our Review Policy, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
In the event of repeated or severe violations, we may suspend or permanently deactivate the account(s) in question.
You can report the content directly or contact us to report content that appears to violate this policy.
The following content is not allowed on WYL:
- Violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, including, but not limited to, any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, or other intellectual property, personal, contractual, proprietary or other third party right of any person or entity
- Impersonates another or is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, pornographic, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing or otherwise objectionable
- Encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law
- Is an advertisement for goods or services (without WYL's express written permission);
- Unnecessarily includes personal information
- Contains a formula, instruction, or advice that could cause harm or injury;
- Is a chain letter of any kind
- The licensed use by us hereunder would result in us having any obligation or liability to any party
- Any conduct by a user that in our sole discretion restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the website will not be permitted
Policy violations
The following are policy violations specific to the type of content:
- Property titles
- Property titles that include information irrelevant to the property, leasing experience, or home provider
- Property titles that include symbols or emojis
- Property and profile pages
- Property and home provider profiles that provide fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Reviews
- Reviews that are biased or exhibit indications of extortion/incentivization, conflicts of interest, or direct competition
- Reviews that contain no relevant information about a home provider, resident, or property may be removed. Reviews that contain mostly irrelevant information are also subject to removal, but only where otherwise relevant information would not be expected to meaningfully inform the leasing decisions of other community members.
